Vancouver born Muri Burbidge brought down the house in club carnivals in the fifties with his comedy drag act and went on to appear in Barbara Wagner and Bob Paul's TV special "Planet Ice" and CTV's "Stars On Ice". He was also one of Ontario's most sought-after skating costume designers. He passed away in Surrey, British Columbia in 2002 at the age of fifty-three.
